Crude Distillation Unit Simulation

A modular design, fabrication, and construction company based in North America contracted Process Engineering International, LLC (PROCESS) to prepare draft startup and shutdown procedures for a new Crude Topping Unit.
More specifically, PROCESS reviewed the following information that the client provided:
- Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
- Process Description
- Control Narratives
- Cause and Effect Diagrams
- Safeguarding Narratives
- Alarm and Trip Settings
- Safety Reports
The final package submitted by PROCESS contained the draft startup procedures, and controlled shutdown procedures as well as emergency shutdown and restart procedures. All work was done remotely from the PROCESS offices in the USA.
